Describe your desk
My desk is small because I am not a rich man except in spirit and imagination. It is always cluttered with notes holding ideas for projects, books I am working on, bills to pay, files to be put away. The 'fun' never ends.
Where did you grow up, and how did this influence your writing?
Rural Pennsylvania was my childhood home. I was adventurous as a child, always wanting to explore and find new areas, new things. Because of this my interests are often not what normal people would find interesting. My writing is often influenced by my past experience, how could it not be, but it likely my exploring the unknown that lets my imagination take me past my personal experience into the new territories of my mind.
