Favorite Quote: All America lies at the end of the wilderness road, and our past is not a dead past, but still lives in us. Our forefathers had civilization inside themselves, the wild outside. We live in the civilization they created, but within us the wilderness still lingers. What they dreamed, we live, and what they lived, we dream.”

What's the story behind your latest book?
The story behind the whole Outfitters Universe is how could a lowly schlub like me get into space, I am not a astronaut or a scientist so NASA was out, but I want to have adventures. I wanted to be Captain Kirk's nephew, I wanted to live on the Enterprise and later the Millennium Falcon. I mean what kid growing watching science fiction didn't? But I also loved history and wanted to meet the people from the Old West, or a Roman soldier so I tried to combine these two in The Outfitters Universe. Some History, some Sci-Fi Adventure and a war to tie it all together and give it purpose.

The Earth is threatened by the Alarian Empire; the Outfitters a mysterious but seemingly omni-potent alien race, pluck humans from history who had ‘no substantial impact’ to man a fleet to save mankind. Leo a college student wakes to find himself in the year 2050, he is offered command of a recon ship, staffed with among others an frontiersman from the 1760’s,and a slave from ancient Roman.
