Monica Ann Dwyer graduated from St. Catherine University with a degree in journalism, and has worked as a newspaper reporter, editor, writer, managing editor, and project manager. She served seventeen years as an elected official and published "Quietly at Work: Township Government in America", a primer on the township form of government. She lives with her husband in Minnesota.
