What motivated you to become an indie author?
I have always had a vivid imagination. As a child I often had the key role in plays and fell in love with the characters I played. Once I had a role as someone's conscience and the setting was a Baptist Church. I was about ten years old and I hid under the pews and said, "Money is the root of all evil." Everyone was turning around trying to determine where the voice was coming from and I so enjoyed fooling them. I would say this was the beginning of me desiring to bring characters to life.
How has Smashwords contributed to your success?
Smashwords has given me a wonderful opportunity to have my work read by a broad spectrum of people.
