was born in September of 1992, in the small town of Wilmington, North Carolina. Most people nowadays call me by my first name, others by some variation of blondie or by my childhood nickname, Moe, but you can go with whichever you prefer.
I came across my writing somewhere in the 4th grade. There was a writing project in english that required us to write a poem, and towards the end of the year, those poems would be published in a small booklet that was handed out to families. After I had finished with mine, I simply didn't want to let it go!
I had been going through a bout of depression, coping with something that happened a year or two prior, and I found that the writing allowed me to get those feelings out on paper. So I gathered notebook after notebook and began writing. The poems began to lengthen and turn into short stories, and from there they progressed to the books that they are now.
But for all of these ideas and inspirations that I had, I didn't yet have the confidence to go with it.
As the daughter of a single mother, I have watched my mother struggle and walk with ease, and I am amazed now by how much she accomplished on her own. I've watched her make mistakes and learn from them. There have even been a few of my own that I've had the liberty of looking back on, but my mother has been my greatest inspiration.
She has taught me to never give up on myself or what I believed in, and has also shown me how to be strong in what seems like the hardest of times.
Also a great supporter and inspiration, my husband, Carlton. Without him and my mother pushing me along and creating the blockade that kept me from turning back, I would not be here holding my dream in my hands. Quite literally actually.
There are quite a few others that are also to blame for my personal success, but I fear that if I keep telling you what they've done for me, that you might as well pull out the sleeping bag and camp at the computer.
Can't say that computer would make fantastic smore.

Rogue Mate, The Moltiare Collection: Book 1
by Acacia Estep
They came from the gods. They were gifts, offspring, and accidents, but one thing was certain. Shifters, Vampires, and Witches were among those that had evolved past the limitations of humanity, those that developed abilities that no human could match, but even for those that had the ability to do anything, some things were still forbidden.
