A. G. Lyttle

Biography

AG Lyttle grew up in the unfettered freedom of the County Down countryside in the Ulster of the fifties and sixties. He graduated in Biochemistry from Queen's University before moving to Surrey with his English wife just as the Troubles were starting. He obtained his Masters in Quantitative Business Methods at Surrey University and became a Fellow of the Institute of Management Services while following a career in that field, working for such institutions as the International Stock Exchange, Westminster City Council, NatWest Bank and the Home Office among others. His spare time is split between church activities and growing apples, blackberries and three children. The latter have reaped him his most rewarding harvest – a plethora of grandchildren.

He has been writing to entertain and challenge since his teens – mostly songs in the early days as protests or with a Christian message. He is also known for his comic verse celebrating friends' birthdays, engagements and other life events. He writes sketches and monologues and, since his retirement, has been writing books.

Dillon's Rising is his third novel but the first to be published, with the other two still undergoing some heavy editing. He looks forward to writing many more.
