I agree with everything Sue said in her excellent review... particularly about the paranormal aspects of the book; it's not a typical "in-your-face" ghost story. Although I found Illya's personality to be a little trying at times, as Sue said, the characters learn and grow throughout the story and my initial hesitations soon cleared up. I very much enjoyed this book and my biggest complaint is that there isn't a sequel!
