Archie Kennedy (Born 1987) is a native of Norfolk, Virginia. He enlisted in the United States Army in 2010. Serving in Fort Lewis, Washington with the 3rd Brigade "Arrowhead" Division. He was assigned to 1-37 Field Artillery Regiment from 2010 to 2013. He deployed in 2012 in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. Afterwards, he finish his career in Fort Hood, Texas in 2015 with many awards and honors.
While deployed he found an interest in politics and writing. To date he has published 3 short stories "Yakima Nights" (His first Romantic story), and "Dealing With Smoke Vol 1 and 2" (Crime). Archie's goal is to publish 15 short stories in 2015. He is an avid Washington Redskins fan as well as a advocate for Veterans Rights and helping the poor.
Do you remember the first story you ever wrote?
Actually, "Yakima Nights is the first story I ever wrote. I had other stories that I never finished. So, I decided to stop procrastinating and see this story to the end.
What is your writing process?
I have none. I actually get the urge to write and I just go at it. I feel like that is my super power sort of. I can knock out a short story within 2 minutes if I want too.
"Dealing With Smoke Part 2" is the second installment to the intriguing short story about Drug Dealer Michael and his military empire. The story leaves off from the deal Michael made with another party to expand his business. Also, his affair with Tina, his best friends wife, takes a turn for the worst. He soon learns becoming a king is easy but to maintain the position comes with sacrifice.
