Smashwords Interview

What are you working on next?
Catching up on and re-writing everything that has been written but unpublished to date, including new stories, new ideas. Reviewing my first book, 'Jimmy Bucklesmith' and writing a second part to it.
What inspires you to get out of bed each day?
......I usually need the bathroom, then a vision of well-done toast gets me dressed and into the kitchen.... In the head, there is little difference between 6am and 6pm, so inspiration is a kinda permanent state.

without the the invention of the stirrup my ancestors would not have even arrived yet....without the invention of the wheel, I couldn't have driven to the library....without the written word there would be no library....without the Style Guide I couldn't have published; Nice one! - it's that keeps the written word rolling along....
  • Other Shoes, Other Feet on Dec. 30, 2013

Attention holding narrative, content and style.Enjoyable read. Very.
  • Single Guy, Lonely Grill on Dec. 30, 2013

Quick, quaint read - but dark, too, where humour often disguises pain.
  • A Halo Too Deep (a flash fiction story) on March 19, 2014

It might be irrational to believe in myth but entirely rational to feel invited by a smile.....but which is the safer option? Excellent quick read. Weird though? Ironic perhaps - and great with it!
