Aldrea Alien

Biography

Born and raised in New Zealand, Aldrea Alien lives on a small farm with her family, including a menagerie of animals, most of which are convinced they're just as human as the next person. Especially the cats.
Since discovering a love of writing at the age of twelve, she hasn't found an ounce of peace from the characters plaguing her mind, all of them clamouring for her to tell their story first.

It's a lot of people for one head.

Ha! Got an hour or so? No? Okay, let's stick with my oldest favourites, in no particular order because I just can't do that with these people ...
Anne McCaffrey, David Eddings, Robert Jordan, Andre Norton, J.R.R. Tolkien, Robin Hobb, Jennifer Roberson, Melanie Rawn, Trudi Canavan, Tad Williams, Terry Pratchett, Maurice Gee & Gayle Greeno.

The following is a word for word quote from my seven-year-old daughter... "It had heaps and heaps and heaps of magic! And there were special healing trees. And all the bad guys got defeated in the end and it was cool!"
