Some events in history are so obscured by legend that hardly anybody knows how things really happened. Some legends are self-perpetuating and facts get ignored by certain authors or are unknown to them. In chronicling history, it appears to be sufficient to parrot what somebody else said to the point that the truth just appears as footnotes.

To start with, one cannot but applaud any initiative to keep our planet beautiful. Whether the recipes are a little too simplistic or not is, at least on second sight, irrelevant. Much more important is that there is a conscience forming effort. Kudos for that.

No topic is off-limits and the kitty has plenty of questions (for him) about life. Cleverly focusing on holidays, the tongue-in-cheek story moves along smoothly and effortlessly. Holidays with Sundae: Conversations with My Cat is a delightful read.
