Ali Roberti is a history professor in California, who has travelled extensively throughout the world. While working for the University of Maryland, Ali lived in Cairo, Lisbon, and London. These life experiences provide the rich backdrop and authentic voice for her novels.

Ali married her college sweetheart and they now live on a ranch in Northern California with their three children.
