Amador Publishers, LLC

Publisher info

AMADOR PUBLISHERS, LLC specializes in fiction and biography of unique worth and appeal, outside the purview of mainstream publishing. Based in Albuquerque, New Mexico, the press started as a self-publishing venture when Harry Willson received the following letter from a New York literary agent: "This is fresh and new and heartfelt, and the world needs it, and I'm not going to do it." So, who needs New York? Harry and his wife Adela Amador decided they didn't, and they published DUKE CITY TALES themselves. Its release was met with a flood of manuscripts from other aspiring authors, a few too good to turn away.

And so a new publishing company was born. Since its inception, Amador has published more than 30 titles from over 15 authors, all touching in one way or another on humanist themes and principles important to Harry and Adela -- peace, equality, respect for all cultures and preservation of the Biosphere.
