When did you first start writing?
I started writing in elementary school in diaries. Seriously writing I started writing in college.
What's the story behind your latest book?
It is a book that took my whole life to write. I was battling postpartum when I decided to write Molt. I found that poetry served as my metal escape and after watching my husband put himself out there with his art, I decided what the hell? Therefore, I decided to write a book about shedding negativity and allowing room for new growth.
