The Toil and Trouble Trilogy, Book One

VJ Chambers has done it again. Her fun themes of star-crossed lovers and magic collide and suck you into a vortex of moral ambiguities. Is it okay to kill someone if they are terrible and have caused harm?
A bonus is that her writing is tightening up which makes it easier to stay in the story once you've been drawn in. I'm a bog fan of Chambers' imagination. I like how it takes the reader on a journey to dark places, all the while reminding us we're human.
