Andrea Atzori was born in 1984 in Sardinia (Italy). He graduated with an MA in Publishing from the Oxford Brookes University and worked as an assistant editor at David Fickling Books (publisher of His Dark Materials). His first fantasy trilogy (Iskìda of the Land of Nurak) was optioned by Academy Award winner Anthony LaMolinara (SFX Spider-Man 2) for the shooting of a film teaser.
