Smashwords Interview

What is the greatest joy of writing for you?
My greatest joy in writing is being able to share my passion for small business. Small business is the foundation of the capitalist system. Apple, Microsoft, Hewlett Packard, Walmart, Amazon and other large corporations all share one thing in common; they all started as a small business.

Most small businesses don't become large corporations. However, they exist as a small business for one primary reason and that is because it meets the needs of enough people that are willing to buy their product or service.

Small business has been one of the most important aspects of my life as it provides a place for me to expend my energy and enthusiasm, be successful and feed my family. Each day is different as you never stop learning and never stop striving to get better. It's a great way to live a life.
Who inspires you?
Small business is hard work and stressful. It is what it is. Those who inspire me are those that understand the risk and the stresses and strains but do it anyway because its what they love. Many small business owners start and then drop out. Many then come back beside they are drawn by its challenge plus the freedom and creativity it provides.
