Andy Carpenter
Andy Carpenter, a young upcoming furniture designer, develops an obsession for redheaded women. He resolves to make love to as many redheaded women as possible but decides that he can kill two birds, of the proverbial winged variety, with one stone so he makes contact with furniture designers in both England and Ireland. Sex alone is not a reason to travel so far, he needs mental exercise as well.
The Internet is a cornucopia of redheaded women and information.
His research on redheads tells him that Scotland has the largest number of redheads, but further investigation leads him to believe that the prevailing wisdom is that Irish redheads are hotter. He’s on his way to the greatest adventure of his life – to find as many redheads as possible and fulfil his obsession.
When he meets Winnie, a beautiful black woman, on the train journey from Johannesburg to Cape Town he can’t keep his eyes or his hands off her. Although he grew up in post-apartheid South Africa, Andy knows that in the apartheid era it was illegal to have interracial sex. She is the forbidden fruit from The Garden of Eden, although it is no longer against the law. His plans already made before he meets Winnie, does he cancel or does he continue? But he can't change his mind. He has obligations to work in the United Kingdom and Ireland.
Do you remember the first story you ever wrote?
This is my first story, an autobiographical account of my erotic adventures.
What is your writing process?
I wrote about all the women I've been with.
