Angela Grey is an architectural drafter, painter, and hobby writer that enjoys yoga and spirituality classes. She's previously self-published four books under the pseudonym Peyton Mathie*. Those are Shades of Grey, Incubator Views, Hayden’s Corner, and Star-Crossed Down Memory Lane which were based on storied life. Angela has also self-published two non-fiction and memoir books. Those are Resilience Throughout Recovery and Beyond Quirky. Her latest fiction book is Run Fast, Run Far.
Although she’s a South Dakota native, she lived in Brooklyn, New York off and on throughout her childhood. Currently, Angela resides in Eden Prairie, Minnesota with her family. Other hobbies include Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), camping, and budget travel.
*Note: The pseudonym was derived from the first name of her daughter’s childhood friend and the surname of a coworker at approximately the same time frame. In one she saw signs of her past and the latter, hopefully, her future.

My name is Angela Grey and I published through CreateSpace to tell my life story.
Give us an insider’s look at how your book came to be. Give us a deeper understanding of your creative process.
I was journaling about my schizophrenia diagnosis and wanted to put it in book format for my family. Through writing I gain insight into the parts of my life I think that are important. When I read about a subject, I also get a better understanding into myself. I hope that I inspire others with schizophrenia that way as well.
