What a great concept! I love the whole idea of a manuscript that details and solves a terrible unsolved crime being left on George's front porch, and him having to get it published or risk ruin or worse. George is damned if he does, and damned if he doesn't. This makes for excellent conflict right out of the gate. The Writer is an interesting novel full of exciting twists and turns and slams. I was hooked in Chapter 1 and raced through it to see how George ended up on the final page. It's definitely worth the time to read this unique, fast-paced thriller.
