Anne R. Allen

Biography

Anne R. Allen is the author of seven comic mysteries including the bestselling Camilla Randall Mysteries. She's co-author of How to be a Writer in the E-Age: a Self-Help Guide, written with NYT bestseller Catherine Ryan Hyde. She blogs at Anne R. Allen's Blog…with Ruth Harris, which Writer's Digest named to their Best 101 Websites for Writers in 2013.

Anne is a graduate of Bryn Mawr College and spent twenty-five years in the theater—acting and directing—before taking up fiction writing full time. She is the former artistic director of the Patio Playhouse in Escondido, CA and now lives on the Central Coast of California.
