Ann Hammerton


Ann Hammerton was brought up in Nottingham where her parents both ran successful businesses.After a private education and music college, her career as a professional singer included musicals, reviews and recordings, both in the UK and abroad.Some years followed working in advertising, marketing, trading and property. At the age of fifty-five she moved to France, there to become fascinated with old stone properties which she renovated.She returned to England in 2007, writing having become her main interest. She now lives in Eastbourne where she continues to work on ideas for further mystery novels.
