When did you first start writing?
I first started writing seriously while taking a course on writing for children. The scenarios that I presented in each of my assignments became increasingly emotional, and overly filled with romance. They were too complex for kid's books. Finally, I gave in to instinct and penned Voice With A Story to Tell (https://www.smashwords.com/books/view/616352) to describe the emotional upset that was developing within me. Of course I had to add a bit of steamy romance to keep readers reading. Its creation satisfied my urge to write with conviction and solution. I hope it inspires and uplifts all.
What is the greatest joy of writing for you?
The greatest joy in writing is getting to the "solution" scenes. Creating pages of emotional upset with a climatic finish is the most fulfilling feeling. I often have to settle my own emotions after writing a story end. Talking it out with fans and members of women’s fiction book clubs is the best. I find all too often that I’m not the only one guilty of vesting my feelings into a story.
