Allen Gale
Biography
Allen R. Gale, a native of New England, Viet Nam Era vet, and retired engineer, began writing short stories in high school. His primary interest in radio and electronics took him on a different path, ultimately leading to a 35 year career in engineering. Allen’s duty in the Air Force sent him to Cape Canaveral where he was immersed in the space business, including the Manned Space Program through the Apollo Project. Creative writing gave way to technical writing but his love of mystery, science and adventure never died. After retiring from his aerospace career Allen returned to creative writing, again starting with short stories and spiritual pieces. Science Fiction never out of mind, he then wrote his first novel, planned to be the beginning of “The Obsession Series”.
Allen current lives in Georgia with his wife, Ann, who is herself an artist, health-care professional, assists as English coach, editor, and consultant, and is his greatest asset.
