This debut novel brings refreshing modernity to the traditional ‘Bonnie and Clyde’ tale. John and Sarah are two idealists, who have taken the road of crime in an attempt to pursue their mission of combating world poverty. The book opens with a daring bank heist, before progressing to a series of events that culminate in a clash between different forces. There is some interesting perspectives speckled across the chapters, some of which risk detracting from the story, but overall the plot is rich, fast and gripping.
