The Ferryman's Apprentice: Part One

Such a cool story! The whole concept of what happens to you after you die is always interesting, but I found the idea of "The River" and the "ferrymen" to be especially so.
I also loved the character development of protagonist Wilom by the end of the book. I'm very intrigued to see what happens between him and his newfound acquaintances, as well as what he may find when he goes back "home".
Excellent job! Looking forward to reading the next part soon!

I absolutely ADORED this book. It has interesting magic, fascinating characters that you can't help but root for and become invested in, and a plot shrouded in mystery and secrecy all the way to the end. Lee's descriptive writing style makes for a very submersive read, bringing to life both beautiful scenery and vivid characters.
I can't wait for a second part. Highly, highly recommend!
