Autumn Siegel

Biography

I love to read and I dabble in writing too. Books are my passion so usually I will have at least three books started at one time and I live for two hours of uninterrupted time to be able to read as much as I want. :)

  • The Lost Immortals: When Copper Suns Fall on Feb. 29, 2012

I really enjoyed reading this book. The characters were fiesty and the book was fast paced. I'm looking forward to reading more by this author.

I was not impressed with this book. I received a free copy through a book club I joined on goodreads and i'm glad I got it free. The main character was not believeable. She jumped from emotion to emotion unnaturally and I kept waiting for her to have a heart to heart with her father about being a daughter of a mermaud. The characters just never felt developed enough.

I received a copy of this book through my reading group on GoodReads: Shut up and Read.... What an interesting book. I didn't know what to expect from the book after seeing the cover. By the way... I love the cover of the book. The characters were fun and I knew I would be hooked after reading a line like this "A sconce? Majesty thought. How very Scooby Doo." Who doesn't love a good shout out from Scooby Doo. It was a little hard to get into from the first couple of chapters but after you get in you can't put the book down. I'm looking forward to reading more from Courtney Vail.
