Jeffrey H. Baer
Currently unemployed, unless you consider promoting my novel a job. Although I read many bestsellers since 1990, I like to write about ordinary people making their ways through everyday situations.
I was diagnosed with Asperger's Syndrome in April 2002, which explains why I was such a social fumbler as a kid and racked up 27 jobs in the last 21 years. I don't let my disability stop from doing what I please--within reason, that is.
I live in Coney Island with my wonderful girlfriend Karen. Pay me a visit, and I might treat you to a Nathan's hot dog.

» Coming of age
We all must come of age and find out who we are as individuals. A Song Apart tells the story of Kevin Derow, a 19-year-old college student, and Shannon Kistler, the 17-year-old pop star he idolizes, as they embark on a journey of love and self-discovery.
