What a wonderful first chapter in what is a fabulously sensual, excitingly erotic, and pithily written tale of young boisterous exploration. The relationship between the narrator and Mr. Davis has a striking potential to it. Here the combination of Mr. Davis's knowing experience and masterful aloofness married to the urgency and youthfulness of the narrator leads to some exciting moments. The erotic tension is ratcheted up stage-by-stage, experience by experience in an exciting way. For a first chapter, it is a fine achievement, and represents a great deal of potential exploration for both of the central characters. Looking forward to hearing more about their motivations and their their inner causal logics. Can't wait to read the next installment!
