M. A. M.

Biography

I am a lifetime member of Girl Scouts of the USA and a recipient of the Gold Award. I enjoy growing house plants, specifically orchids and African violets. In my free time, I like to tour flower gardens, explore the National Parks, or see new places. (I love going on adventures!) I am currently studying dog training and love volunteering with animal rescue groups. I live in Ohio with my super cute pup, Valla, who is extremely spoiled.

Valla is an adorable half Chihuahua, half Dachshund pup!  Or, if you prefer, a Chiweenie. Even though she's kind of small, Valla goes on lots of adventures with me.  I can’t decide whether parks or food places are her favorite.  Valla absolutely thinks she is the boss, and she is constantly pulling various stunts in a futile attempt to prove it!

Smashwords Interview

What do you read for pleasure?
I generally read fantasy books for fun. I specifically enjoy epic, fate of the world books. Occasionally, I like to mix it up a bit with a good mystery book or an animal tale.
What is your e-reading device of choice?
Ironically, I don't like e-reading, and I don't use an e-reader. I'm pretty old school with my reading habits. I like an actual book in my hands. The paper texture and the smell of the ink all add to the reading experience. You can't get that with an e-reader.
