I won Speaking Emotions as part of a contest today. Funny thing was, I was going to purchase and read it anyway as it hits close to home. My brother in law is a high functioning Aspergers and although he's able to do a lot on his own and, I believe, after working with him in a facility for those with disabilities, he could and would most likely thrive in a place where he had roommates who had some of the same issues. He's in his 30's and so far it hasn't happened; I'm not sure it ever will. I love how Terra incorporates her daughter's own words in journal entries as well as songs/poems. If read by those who are struggling or have family or friends who are struggling with any spectrum of Autism, I believe this story can and will give hope to those who might see the future with an autistic family member as bleak. Those with Autism can learn if they can only find what they need to reach their potential. **** LOVE THR STORY TERRA***
