Hughes Henshaw Publications

Publisher info

I began Hughes Henshaw Publications in Colorado in 1987 and the first book I published was The Rabbi's Tarot. This book contains a composite of notes that a rabbi colleague of Carl Jung had taken during the last few years of Jung's travels and lectures. I inherited these notes with a promise that I would add the symbolism of each of the major arcana cards of the Tarot. I have been publishing books for many new authors since that time. I have also helped authors set up their own publishing companies and have several authors who are retired medical physicians. One writes murder mysteries and is currently writing his 7th novel. Each of his novels are definitely page turners and insightful as to what happens behind closed doors in hospitals and in the black marketing of organs. His name is Joseph T. McFadden, a retired neurosurgeon and writes from firsthand experience witnessing abuse and tragedy in the medical system. His fiction works introduce richly developed characters, exciting plots of intrigue, and romance. Intelligent and relatable heroes and heroines parry with dark and twisted villains, and surprise twists keep the readers on the edge of their seat until the very end.
Another new author I have worked with has written two novels and one is listed on Smashwords; the title is North South North and another is soon to be listed as well. Be sure and look for the title The Urge by Godfrey Traub.

After learning not to judge others, I asked myself, “What do you think causes our fears and uncertainties in life?” My answer was, It is professing to believe what you do not yet understand, and marching to someone else’s drummer (their belief systems), not mine. When someone tells me something and I feel it's not the truth, it has, in many cases helped me to listen to my inner guidance.
