Gavin Coleman lives with his wife and 2 children in western Florida. I have been a special education teacher for over 19 years in a variety of settings: public, private, and charter in Florida and Pennsylvania. I have also provided mentorship and support to teachers by observing and evaluating them. I am a certified clinical educator for Florida, providing leadership and support to education graduates from college. Dakota Coleman, my son, has created the Dakota Dragon series of stories for children.

What are you working on next?

I am currently working on Book 2 of the Jai'Quel Wars Trilogy. It will tentatively be titled Wings of Fire. There are lots of new stories and ideas that I want to write about the world of Avachyle. I will also continue to work on short stories for the Heroes and Villains series.

Who are your favorite authors?

My all-time favorite author is Robert Jordan and the Wheel of Time series. I am also a fan of Margaret Weis, Tracy Hickman and Piers Anthony.
