Can you tell me a little about yourself?
I was born in England and moved over to America at the age of 25. I have always been a huge animal lover and I started horse riding at the age of 4. In 2014 I rescued a Thoroughbred mare who was off the track and I named her Lady, she was 900lbs when I brought her home, and to watch her turn around has been amazing. I have a small sixth sense, I’m not psychic but I can see, sense and feel different spirits and energies, I like to call it "I am very spiritually connected". I am huge believer in meditation I love just letting my spirit and guides just guide me, I love the possibilities that come with exploring beyond the surface and unearthing something hidden deep within myself the universe as a whole invigorates me. I love the outdoors but when I’m not horse riding, with my animals or meditating if you give me a beach, a sunset, a pen and piece of paper I’m happy. I think deep down there is a small hippy girl in me.
Do you remember the first story you ever read, and the impact it had on you?
The first story I ever read was Black Beauty by Anna Sewell, as a young child I fell in love with story, every night I had to read it I think my mum lost count how many times I read the book. The book really teaches us to treat animals with kindness and respect. As a child I was always watching the Show Jumping and Dressage on the television and the book really helped my passion for the animal not just the sport grow and then once the TV series and movie came out of course I had to watch them. To this day I still love the book it has to be my all time favorite.
