Tidings of Murder and Woe
on March 13, 2015
This is book 3 in the Anna Nolan series and the only one I have read so far. All the books appear to be standalone but I think you would get the full effect reading the whole set. It took me a bit to catch up with who's who because there are a lot of people in the book.. Once I got into it though, I loved the story line and had to keep reading. Its one of those books where you are sure you know who did it and then you change your mind about a dozen times. Basically everyone could have done it, poor Julia was surrounded by some not very nice people. Now I need to go back and read the first 2 books so I can see how Anna got into solving mysteries. Other than the sheer volume of characters, I enjoyed this book quite a bit.

The Dating Do-Over
on March 16, 2015
Who hasn't wanted a dating do over? You have a bad breakup, you look back and wonder how did you not see that coming or why did you make that choice? So now you are single and afraid to trust your judgment so you let your friends pick your dates. Well, after those disasters you realize that you are the only one who can tell who is right for you. That is Viv's story too. Laugh along with Viv as she explores the dating pool again, cry with her as she deals with family issues, rejoice with her as she finds love. This was a fun book to read because most of us have had experiences along these lines.
