Dr. David Baboulene has eight books published: two novels, two children's books and four books on story theory. His work has been translated into several foreign languages including Japanese and Chinese. He has had four film deals, two in Hollywood and two in the UK.
David works as a story consultant with production companies, authors, training and development organisations. His Ph.D. thesis asserts that subtext and knowledge gaps are the defining substance of story, and by measuring subtext presence, depth and extent, he can formally identify the strengths and weaknesses of a story. Now that's handy!
The book that changes the foundations of narrative theory. The book that formalises story as well as narrative. The book that allows the story creator, the characters and the receiver of a story to be united in a groundbreaking new approach to the study of story.
