Barbara Wohlschlegel

Barbara has always lived in the beautiful rural Finger Lakes Region of Western New York. Raised by a godly mother, she received Christ during adolescence. From her brother, she learned both a love of farming and the labors and sorrows farmers face in their continuous daily struggle for a livelihood. Many of her working years were in agricultural-related businesses.

Now retired and in her mid-seventies, Barbara and her two cats live in a small village. She keeps busy with reading, writing, gardening, and church activities. Though never married, she often writes romance stories, much to the amusement of some three dozen nieces and nephews. Her first book, Along the Tracks, a collection of Canadian short stories, was published in 2008. Soon to be published is a Biblical novel of Noah’s flood, The Rainbow’s Beginning.
