I love to travel and explore new places, which usually means each of my novels is set in a different locale. I have been published in formats from poetry and short stories to full-length fiction. I also had the opportunity through my work to write and co-produce a documentary on state history which won state and national awards. Just for fun, each year I write a Christmas short story for family and friends—some heartfelt and others whimsical – but always a gift from my heart. These have been compiled into a book called "Christmas Quilt Anthology". I have an MA in Communication and have taught from Kindergarten to college. I also love to create art through pottery, fused glass and quilts.
What is the greatest joy of writing for you?
I love telling a good story. Starting with sometimes disparate people, letting their relationship develop, and having a happy-ever-after is my trademark.
What do your fans mean to you?
Fans are everything! I want people to ready my stories and enjoy them enough to get the next book and to tell their friends about my books.
Leah in Love (and Trouble)
on May 30, 2018
Anytime I stay up half the night reading an entire book, it is a winner! Leah and Sean grabbed my attention from the start, and I couldn't wait to find out what would happen next! Bravo for Leah's determination and strength to fight against the bad guy, and LOVE to Sean for never giving up in tracking her down!!

I just finished Jan Selbourne's "The Proposition" and...OH MY! I was so drawn into the era of post World War I England and all the intrigue that I was looking over my shoulder at every little creak in the house! The setting and characters are so real; the plot was constantly twisting and turning so I never knew who was the villain or who to trust. If a book can have more than 5☆☆☆☆☆stars, this is it!
Lynx, Rodeo Romance Book 1
on Aug. 30, 2018
I love a good cowboy story and Connie delivers! Her descriptions of bull riding had me holding my breath, especially when Lynx...well, you'll just have to read it. There's nothing more entertaining than best laid plans going awry when romance enters the picture.
The Magic of Music
on Dec. 06, 2019
“The Magic of Music” by Genevieve Montcombroux is a touching story of two people lost in a world of accidents and misunderstandings. The characters are unique and flawed, as people are wont to be, and you feel for them, cheering on the heroine as she struggles with amnesia; aching for the hero who feels guilt over an accident that left his daughter blind and mute. Can they overcome personal and small town obstacles to find love and the life they deserve? Read Ms Montcombroux’s Otter Lake Book 1, “The Magic of Music”. I’m looking forward to the next book in this series.
