Barrie Clubb

Barrie started performing poetry in 1984 when he moved from his native Scotland and settled in New Zealand. After about 25 years of performing other people's stuff, it was time to start putting some original material on paper. I've never been partial... is the result. Barrie can usually be found around the folk music festivals in the South Island of New Zealand with poetry books, guitar and occasionally saxophone in hand.

Barrie is an award-winning designer, artist, performance poet, and songwriter. Co-founder Christchurch Community Music - a non-profit group designed to bring live music back into the community.
