Baz Cashin studied archaeology and anthropology at Cambridge University and has had a lifelong interest in the unsolved mysteries of ancient civilizations. He has visited archaeological sites all over the world in a quest to gain a closer understanding of the distant past. He has a particular fascination with the ancient civilizations of the Near East, especially those of Egypt, Mesopotamia and Greece.
Over the years he has come to suspect that these societies possessed deep insights into the nature and purpose of human life on earth, insights which were gradually lost following the Bronze Age collapse of around 1150 BCE.
Recently he has attempted to reconstruct some of this forgotten knowledge, tracing its development, ascendancy and ultimate decline in a series of popular books. These are available in digital format from all leading online booksellers.
