Smashwords Interview

Do you remember the first story you ever wrote?
Very vividly, actually. It was called "Two Boys Playing Baseball" and the gist of it was me and a friend were playing baseball when i hit the ball into a pond. We walk over to the pond, shrug, then go inside for cookies. The End. Naturally, I drew all the pictures while my mother wrote the words down for me. I do believe I still have that book to this very day!
What is your writing process?
My writing process may be similar to a lot of authors. In order to begin, I put my phone on vibrate and set it aside - I am creating a pleasant work environment which spurs on creativity. And in order to help those creative juices flow, I'll put on a playlist of thematic music. This is usually sound tracks from my favorite films or composers, but sometimes I mix it up. Then, after only a few moments, I find myself in the right mindset to create! I do this not only with writing but also with painting as well.
