Henri Ville is a fantastic book. I'm particularly fond of strong lead characters and intricate, murky relationships. I also adore a good mystery, and this book brings all of that and more. From page one, you are simultaneously perplexed and enthralled, not knowing what will happen next but keeping your fingers crossed as you turn each page. There are characters that will make you shake your head and laugh, and characters that will infuriate you. The writing is fast-paced and thorough without being overly detailed. The book touches on topics of religious fanaticism, groupthink, addictions and the effects of decisions. I would recommend this for anyone who loves a good Western, sure, but also for anyone who enjoys complex characters and action. This book is definitely not just for chicks. Enjoy!
