I enjoyed reading this book, it is clear that Willow Cross has a clear talent for creating a world and inviting the reader to become apart of it. I really enjoy the loving relationship between Damien and Marie, but I did find myself wishing that Marie would stand up for herself a little more, as she seemed to back down to Damien's desires/views any time that they had a disagreement on approach. Overall though I really enjoyed the fast tempo of the book and will be moving on to read the third instalment!
