Every time I read Mindy Haig's work I am amazed all over again. This author must have a enormous capacity to love. I have never read anyone that can write with such passion and get so deep into the feelings and desires of her characters. The reader cannot help but put themselves into the story in someway. And the reader can feel the emotions and passion and longing that the lead characters feel. I wanted so badly to counsel Jesse and rush him into the relationship. But Mindy Haig draws the plot to a stretching point and the reader believes somehow Jade and Jesse are not going to connect, that all will be lost. I will leave it to you to find out what happens to Jesse and Jade. I suggest you read her other books too starting with Hidden in the Pages, the Wishing Place, and the White Room. This is a style of writing that is in my opinion totally new. I believe with all my heart that this unique style will catch on big time. It is a guarantee that if you have not yet read her, that you have never read anything like Mindy Haig's books. Don't miss The Messenger and Glory either. Bob Besemer
