Smashwords Interview

Do you remember the first story you ever wrote?
Yes. It was in 1965. I wrote on Indo-Pak war. I never wanted a confrontation between these two neighbors. A 3-page report was published in an Indian Newspaper. I have in my mind a deep desire to write a book to bring India and Pakistan closer.
What is your writing process?
My process of writing is simple. I put a question (s) to myself and gather as many facts as possible. I, always, ensure that I am guided and led by facts, not by my wishes or perceptions.
