Originally from the Florida panhandle, I spent time in the outskirts of New Orleans, the southern coast of Puerto Rico, and the coal and steel mining areas of eastern Pennsylvania before ending up in Brooklyn, NY. Florida was the hottest, New Orleans the soggiest, Puerto Rico the poorest, Pennsylvania the sootiest, and Brooklyn the tastiest. As far as living goes, taste is not that bad a pursuit.
