Well, I'll start this review by saying I received this book from the author for an honest review and, so, here I am. This is the first book of the Color Series and I really want to read the rest of the series.
This book is really intense, since Myra (our heroine) has not a member of her family alive (something I couldn't imagine what would do to a person be alone in the world) and the only link to her past is her old Grampa's house. She moved to Nyssa so that she can escape the constant remainder of her failure relationship with Trent and to have a new start (writing her book).
Dylan is our troublesome hero and Myra will help heal his broken heart. He is really hot, but has an angry-I'm-not-in-the-mood-to-talk-about-my-feelings way that got to me at the beginning of the book (let me tell you that he didn't leave a good impression to me, I really thought he needed a lot of therapy).
Let's talk about Susie! She was the funniest character of this book. She could make fun of herself just to make Myra laugh. That is what friend do and she won me at the first few pages.
I'm dying to know how Myra will react to Dylan in the next book...
