Dan Poynter is the person I turn to for help and guidance in my own journey toward the destination of becoming not only the writer but the publisher of my book. As well as being informative and helpful, Dan's books are good investments, true assets overall. The Self Publishing Manuals, the Publishing Encyclopedia, and Writing Nonfiction: Turning Thoughts Into Books are indispensable guides if you are on the quest of self-publishing. Get these books; you can't go wrong. Dan Poynter always gives you 'the baker's dozen' as it were. Writing Nonfiction: Turning Thoughts Into Books is a must have in your toolbox. Dan's the man.
  • The Manly Art of Seduction: How to Meet, Speak to, and Become Intimate with Anyone on June 25, 2011

The Manly Art of Seduction is a refreshing book is so many ways. Not only does it take you into the heart of why and how men seek intimacy with each other, it helps you to see that even though eons of teaching and reinforcement drive men away from each other straight across those boundary lines drawn on our psychic landscapes, men still find ways to touch and develop some form of closeness. In fact, men long for it, gay and straight. And every man could learn a few things from this book. I love that the focus is on men making true connections with each other. This is not a sex manual. The chapters on valor and the self-myth are worth the cost. There's so much more to digest. Bravo, Perry, a good effort. A very good effort indeed.
