1981 – 1986
Founder of Santa Fe Natural Tobacco Company. Worked with Native American groups to develop a market for native, natural tobacco produced by Native Americans on tribal lands. Sold the company to outside investors in 1986.

1990-1999
Founder of CultureBanc.com, an online cross-cultural training company. Principal clients included AT&T, Shell Group, American Airlines, Texas Instruments, GTE, Texas Utilities, British Airways. Sold the company in 1999.

1995-97
Computer-based training developer and international management consultant to the non-profit Centre for International Business Studies, Amstelveen, The Netherlands.


1997-1999
Adjunct Professor of International Management, University of Texas at Dallas, Graduate School of Management. Developed and implemented the original distance learning curriculum for this Executive MBA program.

2001 - present
Public service grant writer for Texas non-profit agencies. Responsible for obtaining over $700,000 in grant assistance to local community service organizations.

June 2004 – present
Volunteer writer for Schreiner University, Kerrville, Texas. Responsible for web site copy, university publications, communications and public relations.
