Who are your favorite authors?
So many authors have changed my life and my writing style through the years.
Off the top of my head and in no particular order: Roger Zelazny, J.R.R. Tolkien, Anne McCaffrey, Lawrence Watt-Evans, Katherine Kurtz, R.A. Salvatore, Margaret Atwood, Stephen King, and Neil Gaiman.
What inspires you to get out of bed each day?
Writing. Honestly, since I became a full time author, my novels have become my entire life.
On the fantasy side, I want to explore ever corner of Panos, from Sorch's world in 'Another Stupid Trilogy' to the radical changes seen in 'The Blackstaff Siblings' trilogy.
On the urban side, 'Rhythm' is simply addictive. Tailoring an entire world around music is no small task. But every time I write a new scene with Lucas and Izadore (and more recently, Bo and Rashida), it electrifies me.
